Claudie Dubreuil, from the town of Mirabel, Quebec, Canada, has built a house out of a highly unorthodox building material… four large metallic shipping containers.
The containers were ready, and the builders managed to erect the frame of the new house in just one day. Then containers were then covered in pinewood paneling.
Inside, the house looks fabulous.
The huge panoramic windows create a beautiful sense of space.
A spiral staircase was placed in the new house.
The kitchen is fitted out with everything.
It has an electric oven, a refrigerator and an extractor fan.
The bathroom also looks gorgeous.
Claudie dreamed of one day having a bedroom with a Bohemian theme to it and here it is!
On the first floor, you can still see parts of the shipping containers as they originally looked.
Whilst on the upper floor there’s an open area with an outside shower.
Looks pretty luxurious, right?
