We’re not quite sure what business this dog has being up on that roof, but that isn’t stopping it from climbing up there with ease. As it turns out, training programs across the country teach climbing skills like these to help dogs overcome a variety of obstacles. Apparently, the key to climbing lies in a dog’s hind legs. Most breeds aren’t naturally aware of their hind legs, but, with the proper training, they can develop their awareness and learn to manipulate them.
Of course, confidence and physical fitness are also key factors in your dog being able to perform advanced maneuvers like this one, so don’t try to get your dog to climb without the proper conditioning and training. Considering many humans still find ladders intimidating, it’s impressive to see animals like this dog who have learned to conquer them.
