Japanese Bathrooms Are Different Than Ours, But You Have To See How They Stand Apart From The Rest…

Japanese culture has evolved rapidly since its age-old customs. Contemporary Japan is greatly influenced by Asia, Europe and North American culture. Their bathrooms, however, are very much their own style. Japan is known for its communal atmosphere, so families tend to live in smaller homes with highly efficient furniture and appliances. Even their rooms are multi-functional.

This adorable little girl takes foreign viewers on a tour of a traditional Japanese bathroom. You’d be amazed by how much can actually fit into a room of this size. There are three private sections in the restroom: the sink, the bath/shower and the toilet. In Western culture, you don’t see this very often, but wouldn’t it be a great thing to start?
