Brandi at The Country Cook worked out a wonderful technique of adding texture to red velvet boxed cake. It uses cheesecake-flavored pudding, crunchy, crushed Oreos, and light whipped topping.
Here is everything you will need:
Bake the cake as per the instructions
When finished, take a nice big straw and poke holes throughout the cake until it looks something like the above picture.
Next, mix up cheesecake flavored pudding.
Gently drizzle the mixture over the cake.
Level it out through a spoon
Let it set in the fridge for a couple of hours
Next add the whipped up topping
How good does this look?
